Scope of use: the agent is intended for transferring pressure up to 30 MPa, casting mass for picking-up fingerprints and for preparation of elastic moulds and for casting the damping blocks under vibrating and noisy machines.

Directions for use: warm up Solagel, while stirring continuously, preferably in a steam-jacketed vessel with heat-transfer fluid (oil), and, heat it as long as the melt reaches a temperature of 175・・C. When reaching a temperature of about 120・・C it will change into a gelatinous, almost pasty mass, which will gradually thin out, and, at a temperature of 175・・C it will gain a homogenous character of honey-like consistency. In this condition Solagel will be ready for casting into prearranged moulds.
