Scope of use: Lignur is a mixture of water-soluble organic dyes and inorganic salts. It is used for natural soft- and hardwood colouring. Lignurs are manufactured in 12 basic shades. Other shades can be achieved by mutually intermixing individual shades.
Directions for use: stir up the bag content in 0.5 litre of water, bring to boiling and mix until complete dilution. Let the solution cool down to a temperature of 20 to 30 degrees Centigrade. Prior to staining, clean thoroughly the wood and grind it. Carry out the staining with a brush or a sponge. Smaller objects should be submerged in the solution. Upon complete drying, brush up the stained surfaces with a soft brush along the tree rings and across them. Additionally, you may polish, wax or varnish. To achieve a uniform shade in staining a larger area, prepare the required amount of staining solution at a time.
